All students entering Mars Hill Academy will be tested for admission to the appropriate grade level. Remedial classes or tutorials are available to assist students needing to catch up to their grade in Latin or logic. In the Grammar School (grades K-6) and in grades 7 and 8, students are expected to take and complete all courses for their grade level. In the upper Rhetoric School (grades 9-12), students must complete the following course requirements in order to receive a diploma from Mars Hill Academy:
