Mrs. Christine Lange joined Mars Hill Academy after two years of grammar school teaching. First exposed to Latin in high school, Christine was captivated by the opportunity to deepen her faith by learning a language that brought her closer to the original texts and which gave rise to our modern translations of the Bible. She continued that study and thereby kindled a passion for both Classical languages and civilizations at Colby College. In her recent years teaching at classical Christian schools, Mrs. Lange has relished the opportunity not only to teach Latin to young minds but also to disciple the hearts of many students. Christine and her husband, Andrew, are members of Christ the King in Cincinnati. They enjoy playing piano, games, and getting outdoors to hike, backpack, and play disc golf.
