Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science from Miami University. He has held leadership positions in the IT field, focusing on Cyber Security, at General Electric, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Fifth Third Bank. Brian also founded Morphick, a Cyber Security company. He and his wife, Anne Lynn, have three daughters. All have attended Mars Hill since Kindergarten; one is a Mars Hill graduate and two currently attend Mars Hill. Brian and his family attend and serve at New Life Chapel.
