Whether volunteering your time and talents or making a financial gift, we marvel and rejoice at God’s gracious provision for Mars Hill Academy through His people. Your gifts of time, talent, and treasure are crucial in advancing our mission to cultivate students of wisdom and virtue.
As an independent school, we forgo support from religious denominations and local, state, and federal governments to keep our mission pure. Your gifts are especially important, as they enable us to provide the blessings of a classical and Christian education to many families through tuition assistance scholarships.
Cash gifts are the simplest and easiest way to give. You may make a credit/debit transaction here. Cash or checks and money orders made payable to Mars Hill Academy may be made in person at the school office or mailed to:

Matching gifts can double or even triple the impact of your gift. To learn if your employer offers this benefit, please contact your company’s Human Resource Department or consult this list.
A gift of appreciated securities (i.e. stock) entitles you to a charitable deduction equal to the full market value of the securities while avoiding capital gains taxes.
In-kind gifts are contributions of items (e.g., gymnasium equipment) or services (e.g., asphalt sealing) Mars Hill would otherwise have to purchase. A receipt is issued for all gifts-in-kind, and the value is determined by you or your tax advisor.
Planned gifts offer supporters of the school (age 60 and older) the opportunity to create strategic giving plans that benefit both the donor and Mars Hill. Remember Mars Hill Academy in your will, set up a charitable trust, or arrange for a charitable gift annuity that could benefit your family and the school.
Retirees age 70 1/2 and older may donate up to $100,000 tax free from their IRA to a charitable organization, including Mars Hill Academy.
Many individuals and businesses support non-profit organizations by contributing products or services to fundraisers. Mars Hill Academy accepts such gifts, primarily for use in our annual fundraising dinner and auction. If you are interested in making a fundraiser donation, product, or service, please contact the school office at 513-770-3223.
For more information about making a gift, please contact Lisa Knodel, Director of Marketing and Communications, at email@example.com.
