Members
Joshua Sheldon (Ensemble), a freshman, returns to the stage after
his unforgettable performance as a Waiter and member of the
ensemble in Hello, Dolly!. Outside of performing, Joshua enjoys
playing volleyball and relaxing. He extends his thanks to Miss
Patrick for her dedication and effort in directing the show.
Sophomore Adelaide Solomon (Yente) is thrilled to be making her
theater debut in Fiddler on the Roof! Her favorite number from the
show is “The Rumor.” She is grateful for the example the Russian
Jews set forth in Fiddler—during those oppressive times when they
did not fully understand, they focused on God to lead them
through. Outside the theater, Adelaide can be found on the
volleyball court, or reading, hanging with friends, and playing with
her dog.
Seventh-grader Miriam Solomon (Shprintze) is ecstatic to return
to the stage at Mars Hill, having previously performed as Boq in
Wizard of Oz. The classic Fiddler song, “Matchmaker,” is her
favorite of the show. Miriam credits her experience in the cast with
teaching her that mistakes are simply a part of the rehearsal process
and necessary if you want to get better. Off stage, you’re likely to
find her playing a sport—notably volleyball, basketball, or track.
She thanks Miss Patrick, for making both the hard work on the
stage and in the classroom fun and engaging!
