Seventh-grader Aubrey Perin (Bielke) makes her acting debut in
Fiddler on the Roof and has already learned the importance of both
hard work and teamwork when putting on a production. Her
favorite Fiddler song is the classic “Matchmaker.” Outside of the
theater, you can find her spending time with family, singing, or
baking. Aubrey thanks Miss Patrick for all the hard work she’s put
into the show.
Luke Perin (Nachum, Ensemble), an eighth-grader, is thrilled to
join the cast of Fiddler on the Roof, having previously performed in
Hello, Dolly!. His favorite scene from Fiddler is the Bottle Dance, and
he is grateful for discovering the joy of sharing the musical
experience with friends. When not on stage, you are likely to find
Luke in the halls and classrooms of Mars Hill Academy. Luke
thanks his parents for supporting him, especially with rides to and
from rehearsals and performances.
Junior Ellery Powers (Featured Soloist, Ensemble) has performed
in several productions, with notable roles including Ermengarde in
Hello, Dolly!, Mrs. Webb in Our Town, and Patty in You’re a Good
Man, Charlie Brown. Her favorite number in Fiddler on the Roof is the
beloved song “Tradition.” She has learned the value of strong,
lasting community, both through the story of Fiddler and the
fellowship among the cast members. When not performing on
stage, Ellery loves perusing the local record store. She’d like to
thank Miss Patrick for directing, Mrs. Patrick for producing, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith
for their tremendous orchestra work!
