Cast

Liam Bedinghaus (Mendel), a freshman, returns to the stage after
prior performances in Hello, Dolly! and The Wind in the Willows. The
high-spirited “To Life” is his favorite song in Fiddler on the Roof.
Playing the role of Mendel has taught him to appreciate the hard
work of acting—learning lines is harder than he expected! When off
stage, you’ll find him playing outside or reading. Liam would like to
thank his parents for always driving him to rehearsals and supporting
                   him.

Adali Belcher (Chava), a sophomore, returns to the stage after
previously performing in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She
loves all her scenes with her “Fiddler sisters,” particularly enjoying
the fun of “Matchmaker.” She’s also amazed every time she hears
Louisa as Fruma-Sarah in “The Dream.” Through Fiddler
rehearsals, her castmates have taught her the value of kindness
and creating a welcoming environment—the music brings
everyone together! Ultimately, Adali reflects that “we are all made
in God’s image and we’re doing the play for Him.” Away from the stage, you’ll find
Adali reading or jumping rope. Adali would like to extend her love and gratitude to her
parents, siblings, and grandparents for their loving support. She also thanks Miss
Patrick, her castmates, and her friends. Above all, she thanks her Heavenly Father!

Seventh-grader Sydel Belcher (Ensemble) has previously
performed as a Munchkin in Wizard of Oz. Her favorite song to sing
in Fiddler on the Roof is “Tradition,” and her favorite to watch is “If I
Were a Rich Man.” Joining the play has ignited in her a love for all
things acting—from singing fun songs to donning costumes! When
she’s not on stage, Sydel is likely to be practicing jump rope,
reading, or playing outside with her siblings. She is thankful to
everyone who has supported the play this year!
