Members
Naomi Johnson (Ensemble), a freshman, enthusiastically joins the
cast of Fiddler on the Roof, having previously performed as the Barge
Woman and a weasel in The Wind in the Willows. Her favorite song in
the play is “Matchmaker,” and she will treasure the memories of
dancing and singing with her castmates. Naomi can be found
baking or spending time with her friends when not on stage. She
thanks Miss Patrick for an amazing show!
Eighth-grader Kaden Knodel (Ensemble) is excited to be part of
Fiddler on the Roof. He was last seen in Hello, Dolly! as an ensemble
member and waiter, where his experience in the Waiters Gallop
proves that carrying things quickly without dropping them is, in fact,
a transferable skill. His favorite Fiddler scene is the bottle dance,
which requires focus, balance, and maybe a little bit of luck. When
he’s not on stage, you can usually find Kaden playing soccer,
basketball, or volleyball; running track; or doing just about anything
sports related. He would like to thank Miss Patrick and Mrs. Graham for bringing this
show to life.
Sophomore Lydia LaFleur’s (Ensemble) previous acting credits
include playing Miss Rose in Hello, Dolly! and Rebecca in Our Town.
She’s gained a greater appreciation for the skills of singing and
acting while working on Fiddler, and she values the stronger bonds
of friendship that have been forged. Tevya’s Dream is her favorite
scene. When off stage, you might find her making stained glass,
drawing, or crocheting. Lydia wants to thank her parents, who
always support her!
